Update re: Family Reunion - Saturday, July 18, 2026!

Hello Everybody!

The 2026 Dragland Family Reunion was held on July 18th at The Pioneers Building in Calgary, Alberta. We had relatives coming all the way from New York, San Francisco, Toronto, Victoria and other locales throughout Canada and the USA. Everyone had a fun time, with about 70 people attending. We even tasted lefse and other traditional Norwegian delicacies. Many thanks to the relatives who brought memorabilia to share, and updates to the family tree!

On the morning of July 18th (before the reunion) the DFA Board held its election of officers. Our new President is Dean Dragland; our new Treasurer is Amanda (Mandi) Dragland; and our new Secretary is Vaughn Dragland. Please join me in welcoming our new Executive Committee.

Volunteer Web Designer Wanted

Hi: Our web designer (Vaughn) will have to retire one of these days...

So we are looking for a younger family member who is skilled at HTML, PHP, and perhaps SQL, who would be interested in taking over the responsibility of maintaining our family website and sending out email blasts. If you know of someone who fits the profile (or if it's you) please get in touch via email at vaughn@dragland.org. He would be grateful and happy to share techniques and resources until you are ready to take the reins.
